Soham Salunke
Hello! My name is Soham Salunke and I'm studying Computer Science and User Experience Design at the University of 
ichigan.
I am also working at Amazon as a Jr. Software Development Engineer and helping run the tech behind MHacks.
I like building things that people enjoy using or are useful to them, figuring out how large systems hold up at scale, messing around with LLMs, and learning more about how design shapes our lives.
On campus, I'm a part of Atlas Digital Tech Consulting, a tech consulting organization with some really cool people, and V1 Michigan, a community of student builders .
I like to spend my free time hanging out with friends & family, eating good food, working out, playing pickleball, art & animation, and keeping up with my favorite sports teams

An interactive map to help students find housing in Ann Arbor, built after realizing how painful the search actually is. Apparently a lot of people agreed.
Search Engine
Developed a scalable search engine using TF-IDF, PageRank, and MapReduce, with a REST API delivering JSON results. Built as a part of the class I help teach
Video Generator
A video generator that creates TikTok style TTS videos that instead promote critical thinking based on essays and blogs. Could be used to start a content farm of intellectual brainrot.
Best Time to Buy
A Chrome extension to get an analysis on if it's the best time to buy a product. I wanted Sony XM-4s but didn't know if it was the best time to buy them
EasyResearch
Using GPT to read and learn from research papers. Built to enhance the capabilities of GPT-3.5 in 2023 by giving it a knowledge base.

Automating seeking cost estimations for events, catering, and other information through AI conversations.
